Neville huxford pace bowler played for burnmoor in the early 1960,s In a cup final at ropery lane one night against eppleton,he took ten wickets 9 bowled 1lbw they were all out for about 96. we went to win our first cup in years and were skittled out for less ? ken ferguson did the damage. needless to say we were all gutted for him. what a game of highs and lows that was. but people like bull, weekes,atkinson,hanson,elliot,scott,dormand,huxford allison,can,t remember the rest ,got over things like that,with a pint or 3 bill ak.
