A review of 216 Squadron R L C (V) by Geordie Trucker written on Tuesday 22nd of January 2008
An excellent place to train as a soldier and gain your heavy goods driving licence. I have been in the Squadron for a number of years, and am qualified to drive articulated class 1 wagons, and also obtained my motorcycle licence.
During my time with 216 I have been to Canada, and Germany, and served on operational tours to both Iraq and Afganistan.
All this and i got paid to do it, so how do you spend your weekends ?
Pop along and give it a go, call in any Wednesday between 7.30 and 9.30 no obligation and someone will explain things to you..
