A review of Marshalls by Pogo written on Sunday 12th of June 2011
Have you tried Marshalls in Tynemouth said my mother. Wish i had'nt bothered now. Long queue but you have to expect that with the reputation this chip shop has apparently??. 2 cod 1 chips 1 peas ,bottle of water and a sachet of sauce for £10 a little pricey but if its good i dont mind paying a little extra.... Sadly it was'nt good at all .The chips were ok but for £1.60 the portion was small, the cod was awful, old, dry, chewey and the actual fillet was that thin it could have passed for plaice, the peas... you could have cut with a saw, dry and no taste. If i hadnt have driven away to the priory and the queue hadnt been so long i would have certainly taken this rubbish back. The wife and i are not normally complainers but this was so bad ive come home and written this in the hope that others dont get RIPPED OFF. Never again..
