A review of Army & Navy Surplus Stores by Dale Stuart written on Friday 16th of September 2011
Visited this establishment some weeks ago to buy some kit for camping. I found the kit I was after, however, in comparison with other on line shops & A&N Shops in many other arias, lets just say, the owner charges near new prices for kit, that is for the most part pre owned. Since the shop now freely boasts the sole monopoly in the Newcastle area, the owner, openly boast of charging what he wants. My advice to potential buyers/campers Invest in a half a tank of extra petrol, & travel to another town to possibly secure a better deal. The proprioter, I also found was far less than helpfull both in product knowlege & guidance of after sales help. Could do better.
