"Birthday nightmare"

Went for my wifes birthday on 17/09/2011 What a shambles!!!

We had booked for 7.30 and had not received the starter an hour later. It did not matter if you had booked or not and large groups of people were herded outside the toilets waiting for tables. A large group from outside the area were very loud and swearing . We had children with us and found this very unacceptable.

The staff were very uninformative and impolite. The only thing they seemed interested in was how many people they could pack in!!!

No atmosphere whatsover and a complete waste of money. If you are visiting South Shields go somewhere else. We are locals and would never use it again.

They even had the nerve to wish me happy birthday as we left..
