A review of Supasnooker by Kevin Black written on Monday 7th of April 2008
I have been going to Supasnooker for a few years and I only go there because its near. About50 years ago it was a dance hall and I don't believe its had much done to it since then. The slates are coming off the roof and you can even hear pigeons when your playing. The place is damp and smelly apart from the main entrance and three tables,up stairs where there are 16 tables. None of the tables are looked after and the spiders and balls are of very poor quality. The place gets full of kids and it looks like it needs someone to supervise the upstairs hall. The good points are the staff, they are very helpful, however they do have their favourite members who always get the good tables and table 17 which is a room of its own first. I would recommend this club to someone who doesn't take the game seriously and who doesn't mind kids shouting and running around. For somewhere that charges so much for membership and table charges you would think the place would be repaired and table looked after..
