My dad recently died and we have been waiting for a life insurance policy to be paid so that we can pay the funeral bill. This has arrived in my mums bank account this week. She has now been into the Washington Galleries branch twice this week to pay this bill and also withdraw some money to pay off some other bills but has come across barriers. For all I understand they are worried about fraud and have asked for some I.D. To verify who she is at no point have they supported her in advising what ID is necessary to withdraw this money!

This is the most distressing time of her life and people are so unhelpful in this branch. I will be advising her to move this large amount of money out and go to a bank that actually cares!

I look forward to the branch manager getting in contact today or the money will be moved to tomorrow .
