A review of Cradlewell Antiques by Margie Sunner written on Monday 19th of January 2009
Hi,
I found your location on line and am contacting you about a piece of antique furniture built in your area. If you can help in any way or forward my e-mail to a colegue that possibly could provide information I would appreciate it.
Several years ago we purchased an antique breakfront furniture piece from an auction house in Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
On the back of the piece is a small metal plaque that reads Anderson and Lee - House Furnishings - Newcastle on Tyne.
I believe this piece to be built around the 1830s because of the type of dovetailing in the drawers.
I cannot scan a photo but could send photos of the piece if desirable. Is there a web site or any available information on Anderson and Lee or any place that you know to provide asistance?
Margie Sunner.
