Superb food in pleasant, friendly surroundings. We have been coming to the Border Minstrel for years now, and have never, ever, found any cause for complaint. The portions are generous and sure to satisfy the healthiest appetite. The choice is extensive and, where possible, locally sourced. The prices are more than reasonable too.

A good range of well kept ales and lagers, some decent wines and a good selection of bottled beer completes a heaven on earth for people who want an enjoyable night out in a friendly, warm setting without breaking the bank.
