A review of Great North Bun by Sam Kynman written on Friday 7th of August 2009
I recently purchased a Great North Bun brand cheese salad sandwich from Mr Vs convenience store on Holly Avenue in Jesmond. This cost me £1.45 and consisted of a granary bap, 3 processed cheese slices, 2 slices of tomato, a sprinkling of decaying lettuce and no spread of any kind. I am fairly sure I have never purchased, maybe never even consumed a more pathetic sandwich in my life. Like most people, I have had moments when cooking seems like far too much of a chore and a budget sandwich might suffice before going about my business. However, this really took the biscuit. I hope no one else succumbs to the same sandwich disappointment that i have.
